Great Lakes local yardsticks 1 Sep 25
For 2025 we are revising the handicaps used for club racing. We are using Great Lakes yardsticks, modified in a limited number of active classes to reflect results from our own racing. We have always made adjustments to the RYA yardsticks; this new method uses the RYA's online tools to make it a little more objective. We will monitor it and review the methodology if necessary.

Latest update:
March - added dinghy class 2000 and updated for Great Lakes Spring 2025 yardsticks
April - adjusted 2000, ILCA 4, Supernova and Phantom now we have more data.
September - added Streaker. Revised all yardsticks with new data to 31 Aug 25. Deleted adjustments for classes not currently sailed.
